K3 Trust started with a simple dream, to give children from difficult backgrounds the opportunity to live with hope, and equal chances.

Over the years, we've grown from a small initiative into a community driven effort, touching hundreds of young lives through education, mentorship, and care.

Founder & Chair Person

Romel Kushalappa is a trailblazer in every sense - quite literally. With over fifteen years of experience as a professional hiker, he has journeyed through wild terrains, not just charting paths through mountains, but also through minds and hearts. A passionate artist, seasoned biology teacher with over a decade of experience, and a trained botanist, Romel blends science, creativity and compassion in all his pursuits. Romel founded this trust with a powerful mission: to promote sustainability, uplift underprivileged children, and reconnect the younger generation to their roots - culturally, environmentally and spiritually.

Ananthan Krishnan

Ananthan is the founder of Travandre Adventure and Experience and co-founder of Natesha Nrithyalaya. With a background in travel BPOs and agency work, he moved to Dubai in 2017 to pursue entrepreneurship. On returning to Bangalore, he launched Travandre, a growing adventure tourism company rooted in responsible travel and outdoor education. Ananthan is deeply committed to sustainability, forest conservation, and nature-based learning, shaping Travandre’s mission and his work with Natesha Nrithyalaya.

Akshatha is Known for her calm and composed demeanor, she is a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail and a mindset geared toward critical analysis. Her decision to join the Trust stems from a deep-rooted desire to give back to society and the environment. As a trustee, she actively champions sustainability initiatives and educational outreach, playing a vital role in aligning the Trust's efforts with long-term impact and community growth.

Shweta has been with K3 since its founding, bringing rigorous expertise in financial crime prevention and risk management. However, her greater passion lies in education as a cornerstone for national transformation. Through our educational trust, she advocates for every child to have access to quality learning, helping ensure that no one is left behind. Shweta envisions a generation that is not only skilled but deeply committed to sustainable development. Outside her professional life, she draws inspiration from trekking, travel, and reading — experiences that deepen her connection to nature and fuel her lifelong curiosity. She believes every child should have the opportunity to explore, learn, and stay rooted in empathy, knowledge, and respect for our planet.

Nayana

Nayana Srinivasamurthy

Nayana, co-founder of Natesha Nrithyalaya, is a psychologist turned Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer, and educator. With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, she integrates classical dance as a therapeutic tool for children, leading to the founding of Natesha Nrithyalaya, which now mentors over 500 students globally. Nayana blends tradition with innovation on stage. Beyond dance, she champions arts-based community development, wellness, and sustainability, fostering cultural and environmental awareness through movement and mindfulness.
